Question

Hi folks...

I'm shortly going to be buying myself a Legacy B4/RSK. Well, that is, if I can get insurance ;-)

To complicate things, I'm going to be moving to the city soon (Isle of Dogs I hope), and I need to get insurance, and have my girlf covered too.

I'm 27, 5yr NCB, clean license, and my girlf is 21, clean license. I'm expecting £1000-£2000.

I'll try the companies already mentioned in other threads. Does anyone live & insure a B4/RSK in the city? Or am I just going to have to make do with a Smart car?

Unhappy

Adrian Flux responded to my email, 8 times (and counting) asking me to call them.

They wouldn't quote for my girlf to be included on the cover. For just me, here in Watford, they were asking over £3000!

I'll keep trying but it's not looking good... :-(

Tescos was the best for me, but admittedly I'm in Portsmouth, not the smoke. (dont be put off by the fact that the website is flakey, and the B4 isnt listed. Enter your details for something like an imported 2-yr old WRX, and then use this when you phone them up. I guarantee the dimwit on the other end of the phone wont believe you when you say you cant see the B4 on the list - they obviously have a different view of the database than web users do)

Schofields quoted slightly better, but as some little **** had keyed my (company) car in the last 12 months, they couldnt offer me a protected no claims

Good luck
