THANKS GUYS

So far most firms want to know which tracker is fitted so won't provide the theft part of the cover, might be worth checking your policy's to check!!!

It's got thatchem cat1 fitted but no tracker.

Will try Gary @ Keith Michaels tomorrow and keep 'em crossed

I'm payin 650fc with www.subaru.insured.co.uk which was the cheapest by far for me when I was gettin my quotes.

04 plate WRX SL with the following mods declared:-

18's, decat ss exhaust, STI highline rear spoiler, remap, EBC front discs&pads.

standard CAT1 alarm, 8000miles, 10yrs no claims although my area RM3 is higher to insure as it is near to London although its actually in Essex.

Agree with what people say above, it's worth trying privilege through their own website, although they will need a tracker installed. They were £300 cheaper than any other quote I got though. It's worth playing around with the excess and mileage.

If you do end up with elephant they always gave me good service in the past. I would have stayed with them if they were anywhere near the price of Privilege, but couldn't ignore the difference.

Tesco are good but need a tracker to be fitted. They were actually cheaper than Gary - he didn't need a tracker but couldn't do the same level of cover as i'd just had a non fault claim. worth the money for the tracker in the end.
