Just a short note to say thanks to all at Schofields for sorting out my insurance for the P1.

The quote from Privelege was £1350.

I am 39 - Full NCB - Reasonable area - No SP's - ScoobySport DP , Bailey DV and Prodrive Brakes.

Privilege's prices have risen by 20% this year and they offered me a £50 reduction when I questioned it.

So watch out anyone whose renewal is coming up.

Needless to say I am no longer with Privilege.

Just to add a mention for Schofields as well.

Customer service was first class. Friendly staff (John I spoke with I think) and a call back on my mobile within 24 hours (I had called originally at around 4.40 pm on a Friday - almost sacrilege since beer time approaching). As it happened they could not quite beat the renewal quote I had been offered but nevertheless provided advice on where else I might want to check as well.

I am vaguely contemplating a UK STi in the next 12 months so I know where my first insurance phone call will be directed.
