Policy Cancellation @ Keith Michaels
Hey guys
after shifting my scooby on i rang Keith Michaels to cancel my policy.
They said i needed to return my Insurance certificate for a refund.
Which i did promptly.
Its now been approx 6 weeks since i did this, with still no sign of a refund for the existing period fo the policy (which is about 10 months worth)
I have emailed twice during this period with no reply, and called once, getting told it was in hand.
Has anyone else had an experience with them? Am i just being impatient, or is 6 odd weeks more than enough time to expct a refund?
They were very helpful and quick enough to take my money!
cheers

We have to abide by the FSA regulations and wait untill we have recieved to refund from the insurers, which can take 3-4 weeks.
I'd probably suggest you'd get an answer sooner if you was to ring and ask me what is going on, as i haven't spoken to you regarding the refund..... infact this is the first i have heard of it.
I have posted a thread recently that we are having issues with our server at the moment, so we have very limited internet access.
Ring me on 0208 6427868 and i will look into the matter.

Anyone here should be able to access the information, but we all tend to deal with our own clients, so i'd have been willing to chase up the company and see what was going on.
Gimme a call or pm me your name and i'll have a look for you

The FSA is there to help the customers, not delay their refunds. They can be sent out the next day by cheque no problems!

Im sure you had a good reason why the insured's refund took over 6 weeks. However there is no such FSA regulation which requires the insured to wait 3-4 weeks for a cancelation refund...
