I never even got a quote, 1 PM, 1 On-line Form, 1 Telephone call and 1 follow-up email - no quote, complete waste of time and effort.

if you dont mind posting what is the excess you guys are paying for fully comp?

tried to get a better deal on a MY01 WRX wagon and was told the lowest i could take the excess was £350...

currently insured with admiral with a total excess of £250 on a 10 month bonus acceleration scheme but already have a quote for a normal 12 months policy that give me a better deal.

regards
bob

It will normally be a £350 excess if you are over 30 and the car isn't too modified, rising to £500 excess depending on experience, postcode and modifications.

Note our excess is a total excess, and there are no hidden extras.

When ringing around alway ask for the total excess.
Some companies might have (for example) a £250 policy excess, but might also have a extra £100-£200 driver excess in addition that you only notice in the small print, or when you claim
