Different types of business class?
#1
Hi,
i work as a salesman, and use my Impreza for that. I never carry goods in my car, but I travel to customers around the UK and also various offices.
which of the 3 business types should I have?
Business Class 1
This may be required by the policyholder to travel to different places in connection with business. However, this does not cover commercial travelling or selling.
Business Class 2
Same as above, but allows named drivers to travel to different places of work provided they work for the same company.
Business Class 3
This is the maximum business use available to cover sales people and commercial travelling.
cheers,
greg

Greg,
If all your appointments are pre-arranged class 1 should be alright, but when you ask for quotes you must state this otherwise people will assume class 3, which can attract a loading of 40%.
