Default Help with insurance ?

I'm having a nightmare trying to get a reasonable quote for my '96 WRX.

Last year I paid £500 fully comp with legal protection, protected NCB etc. At the time the car wasn't garaged and was down as having no alarm.
My renewal just arrived and they want £840 ! I've told them it's now garaged and has a cat 1 alarm and they dropped the price to £750-I told them it was too high and I will go elsewhere.

I searched on moneysupermarket.com and I get loads of companies quoting around £500 but when I go to buy the policy it comes up around £700-£800

I tried Keith Michaels who declined to quote and I spoke to A-plan yesterday who first told me they had to pass it to a specialist, then told me if they could get it lower than £750 they would contact me before midday which they didn't.

Who else can I try ? I'm 28 with 7 years NCB,no accidents or convictions.

Greenlight won't insure imports !

I've just tried Privilege who have quoted me £440 fully comp

It has to have a tracker fitted which I have but it isn't running, just need to get that running.

Hi mate

I assume that was an internet quote that was declined?

The internet quotes aren't done by my, and most decline for some reason.

Call me on 0208 6427868 (ask for Gary Moulson) or pm me your details and i'll see what i can do

Gary

TBH with a fault claim in the last 12 months and being under 25 we wouldn't be able to quote on any performace car
