Insurance up from £624 to £895
With Elephant after spending a nice claim free year with them (Apart from a Windscreen but that shouldn't affect anything!)
Getting tired of the increasing costs involved in motoring!
I'm 33 now and don't expect these kind of quoters!
So who are you guys using? 33, Full NCB, No convictions

Cheap loans | mortgages | credit cards | home & car insurance - moneysupermarket UK in the insurance section will give you a competitive comparison pretty quickly.

What a shocker, they have up'ed your quote for no apparent reason. Is'nt it funny how a compulsory insurance is so so high!!
I found my insurance company through confused.com and got insured for £570.00. 31 year old, no NCB, garaged car, 1993 WRX Import, 3 points speeding. It wasn't easy finding a quote this low, infact I was two days away from selling the car all together.
My insurance is due again soon so I'll be looking forward to telling them to naf off when they hike my quote, you should do the same..

Like rasher said A-plan, paid £590 last year with Moley, switched to A-plan this year because they came up trumps with £409 including the all important legal cover.

Elephant do that every year, they get you with a cheap quote then put a large premium on the second year, if you go to admiral, they will try and match any quote you get from someone else. You just have to ring them up. Got a feeling that I`m going to get stung this year after my accident. Even though I have protected noclaims.

Have you tried putting your details back on elephant via the web as if its a new policy?
I was with Direct Line and out of interest tried this - Quote was £180 less as a new policy as they 'give discount to new customers' followed by rant from me regarding 5 years with them and house insurance

Dan,
I have the same stats as you.
I am insured with A-plan.
Mine was £630 including breakdown (until I moved last month to a worse area).
I phoned the Lemington branch for a quote and am now on my second year with them, as they couldn't be beaten on price.

Direct Line for my 2002 WRX - £439 Full Comp, 6yrs NCB, 3 points - which was £58 cheaper than the year before, no one else came anywhere near despite spending hours and hours going through all the numerous web sites offering "huge savings".

A-Plan on an 03 plate STI
I'm 26, 6 years ncb, car on street, clean licence, 10k miles per year, £500 excess
All for £539 fully comp & protected NCB
big to A-plan!
Heres a tip.... my mum needs my car 3 days per week when she looks after my son, so i put her on the policy as a named driver, NOT THE POLICY HOLDER!! To my surprise it reduced my quote by nearly £200
Come on guys give your mums a shot of the car every now and then you know it makes sence!!
