Claim & no claims bonus
Had to make a claim earlier this year, I've got protected no claims discount but just wondering what effect the claim will have when it comes to renewal time?

NCB will remain intact. You might pay a small premium hike due to having a claim earlier this year though ... the higher the insurers bill the higher this will be

Shop around at renewal time if you don't like the quote. 11 years ago I had an accident (Golf GTi 16v) & they wanted to increase my premium to £1800 
had a look around & got it for £500!
