Default QUOTED £1800 FOR SUBARU INSURANCE

HI
I HAVE DECIDED TO BUY ANOTHER SUBARU IMPREZA TURBO....AS A SECOND CAR..
I SOLD MY 1ST SCOOBY ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO AND AT THE END I WAS PAYING £750 FULLY COMP WITH FULL NO CLAIMS..

THE PROBLEM I HAVE NOW IS THAT I OWN A TRANSIT CONNECT FOR MY PLASTERING AND HAVE BEEN USING IT AS MY CAR... SO ALL MY NO CLAIMS ARE WITH THAT VAN.

SO I HAD A QUOTE TODAY WITH NORWICH UNION DIRECT... IM 29, NO POINT AND IVE GOT NO NO CLAIMS CUS THEY ARE ON ME VAN AND THEY WANT £1800 FOR A 2000 SUBARU IMPREZA TURBO. I AM ONLY GOING TO BE USING THE CAR IN THE SUMMER AND AT WEEKENDS..

I ALLWAYS THOUGHT THAT NO CLAIMS BONUS WAS WITH THE DRIVER AND NOT THE CAR... I DIDNT KNOW I HAD TO START FROM SCATCH WHEN INSURING ANOTHER CAR...

CAN ANYONE PUT ME ON TO A GOOD INSURANCE COMPANY!!!! THAT DO SPECAIL DEALS FOR LOW MILES... OR WEEKEND USE.

THANKS NEIL

Could you not use your no claims on the scoob and insure the van with out any?
Surely the van would be cheaper to insure than the scoob without any no claims bonus.

try eCar Insurance - Welcome to eCar

im 22 have only been driving 9 months in total, so obviously much less experience than you. fully comp on a 99 t-plate uk turbo 2000 - £1750

thats a bloody good quote, and its totally legit, everything covered, free breakdown cover, legal expenses etc.

try it what have you got to lose, besides these tv cowboys nu-direct.
