Default insurance with elephant?

anyone insured with them? any feedback?
also when you buy online, do you get extra discount also, when you put down how many NCB you have, do they bother proving it? I have 3yrs, just wondering, do i have to get a doc or certificate to prove it.

i was with them up until this year, good price, i made a claim and although it took a while was relativly painless adn tbh fairly easy as far as it went.

now way more expensive for me than current insurer, but if its good price should be fine with them. only comment would be not sure if they do a like for like mod replacement policy

p.s. your previous insurer will send a proof of no claims to you, they have to by law

Was with Elephant last year as much cheaper than anywhere else.
When renewal came through it had gone up over 80% despite me not making any claims, no changes to the vechicle and still living at same address. When I rang them they couldn't explain the increase other than maybe the car had been regraded by them (MY05 WRX 300) .They offered to knock £60 off but still over £300 more than last year.
After trying around 30 insurance companies I eventually switched to Keith Micheals (Gary Moulson 02086427868) following feedback from other SN users.
