Just agreed to buy my first scoob. 2000 'x' reg Standard Car EC import.
First 2 quotes Admiral and Hastings £1100.
3rd Quote Axa £550, fully comp age 33 all the no claims etc.

You must live in the middle of no where turbo, axa frown on anyone living near a big city as its high risk and they dont like high risk [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] also they seem to be against any sort of import (i take it you told them it was a euro car??) and companies like NU wont even touch parallel imports!!! [img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img]

I have an EU import, Axa have no problems at all with it. They were cheap for me (Leeds 5 miles from centre) and were 600 quid less than Tescos.
They WILL NOT allow any modifications to brakes, so I'm not renewing with them - plus Adrian Flux was a tenner cheaper for a policy that will cover any mods that I wish to make...
