Default New Internet Only Motor Insurers

Hi - tomorrow at 4PM www.eCarinsurance.co.uk launches.Until now they have only covered van and bikes but often at very keen rates.Will they cover Scoobies ? Only tomorrow will tell.....................

They are part of Southern Rock Insurance based in Gibraltar but their other brands include Commercial Vehicle Direct.

Thumbs down ecarinsurance

My first post so be gentle!!!!

Tried ecarinsurance today wouldn't even quote me. Got my van insured with their sister company evan and they were cheapest by far, and none of the daft questions

My current insurance quoted me "not at all happy" with a £1,005 renewal!!!! 35 year old, Full NCD on a 2005 WRX, must be a Joke!

Looks like i best keep looking

Have you tried the usual favourites on here mate? Gary @ Keith micheals, Greenlight, or A-Plan - they usually come up trumps on the scoobies

Tried A-Plan, waiting for quote, Greenlight estimate £787 without tracker. Will probably try Keith Michaels later today.

bobbins is all I can say, wonder if they insure anyone.

Went through it all and got the following;

"We are unable to continue with your Quote due to one or more of your answers:

Sorry, we cannot offer you a quote based upon your requested combination of Driver Age(s), Car, Postcode and Cover. (You may wish to check that you have entered your Address details correctly.)
If this is an answer which you can honestly alter, Click Here to correct the problem."

won't quote me either - 34, clean licence, full no claims, 2003 WRX SL UK no mods. Suppose the Manchester postcode did it. Frankly, unless you drive a hyundai and live in teh country, I wouldn't bother wasting your time

Hi - they don't cover Scoobys but they will quote most ordinary cars and their prices on under 21's are very low.Give them a try for your daily driver.Bear in mind their prices include full breakdown and legal expenses worth around £90.00 of anyone's money.
