Default TD04 to TD05 and Apexi FC, have you informed your insurance?

Hi, thinking of changeing my td04 to a td05 and fitting an apexi fc, on a classic my00. Have people told there insurance and if so how much will it increase the insurance?

You would be a fool not to inform the insurers. A little premium increase offsets the possibility of no pay out at all in my book

I will vary between in's co's and some may not cover you/modded cars. IMHO, just call them up and ask

If you get a silly quote try Subau Insured (Schofields). the only thing standard on my car is the bodyshell (literally) and I pay £371 fully comp (all mods declared) for a 4000 mile limited mileage.

You have to tell your insurance, there are no two ways about it!

If they put your quote up significantly, go elsewhere.

My insurance quoted me roughly £100 extra on my premium for 100bhp increase. This is on a My95 WRX.
