I am 29 and live east london way. I have a 99 classic with full no claims and pay £700 with A Plan. However I did pay over £1200 last year as that was my first year of ownership, so unless this isn't your first year of ownership I would keep trying.

Default Good Insurance from Zurich

Zurich was the best i could get as i didn't want a high excess. - 30, 2yrs no claims, 1993 wrx, £350 xs. legal, courtesey car, 45 days european cover with brakedown for free (which wasn't needed but can't delete it) kept on a drive in South Manchester total £872 comp. So £700 for east london sounds ok to me, but £1350 seems high. My first policy for the scoob with Nil NCD was about £1400.

Am a big fan of Elephant.co.uk

Also could make your overall quote cheaper if you stick your mum on as a named driver - put my quote down by over £100!!!!!

I'm 27 with an MY03 STi & 5 years NCB and live in a low crime postcode. I pay £692 (although I'm suspecting my occupation may help a little )

The missus is 25, no NCB with a Mini Cooper S and only pays £290.

Try Direct Line - been with them nearly 3 years now, cannot fault them at all.
