Thumbs up A Plan insurance - top marks again

Just moved my insurance from those difficult tw*ts at Elephant to the lads & lasses at A-Plan (yes the 01635 number) and saved over £350. I was amazed, they were at least £150 better than the next company, who after "quoting me happy" (my ****) came back and said they'd got it wrong, but that it must have been me who had "deceived" them in the conversation (cheeky f...)
Obviously I should have taken into account the fact that the company brain cell was out for lunch at the time and I should have spoken much slower so they had time to write things down proper like uuuunnnhhh.

Also just thought I'd also mention GREENLIGHT, who advertise on Scoobynet. I called them today to be told they were "a little too busy right now" and that "there was no chance they'd ever get under £600", so it wasnt really worth bothering. Nuff said about that.

Thankfully not an attitude displayed by A-Plan. So a big cheers to the lovely Sarah Harris (a pleasure to speak to) and also to Dave (good bloke) who actually did all the boring admin stuff this afternoon.

Now its off to Autosounds to blow the money I "saved".

Chief - cant say for certain, but having previously been in the industry mtself, I'd be very surprised if they only covered Scoobs. Insurance is about spreading your risk to cover your ****. They are a brokerage after all, dealing with many many underwriters. If I were you I'd give them a call anyway. I think it could be really worth your while. I worked for a co. who shall remain nameless, but the guys in my old office couldnt get within a million miles of this, and thats even calling in favours.
