Just taken Gary at Keith Michaels Insurance up on a very resonable quote for my car.
25, 8yrs no claims, MY99 UK turbo with mods in a not so nice postcode and business use as well, just tipped the grand.
not bad i thought, give him a ring on.

Also the major thing that swung my business his way was i had a good chat to a real person on the other end of the phone who understood what i needed, not some call centre automaton that just reads from a computer screen.

They were prepared to match both A plan and LV when I called them, the only thing was they wanted a little more excess so I stayed with LV. I may be giving Keith M a call again when the policy is due for renewal with all the horror stories we keep hearing about LV.
