Well can't comment on the online site but when I phoned them for a quote I was amazed about how quick and simple the questions were.
I even had to double check....now that price includes protecting my NCD etc.
The price was right....and no ****-ups on my quote

I see Greenlight are back on a sales drive for Scoobs again!
Funny how they change their minds....two years ago they told me that they were unwilling to give me a quote as they were reducing the amount of Subaru's insured and I didn't have enough experience!
WTF!?!?! 10 years driving experience (at the time) and I had come from a 250BHP Lancia Delta HF Integrale to the scoob....HOW MUCH MORE EXPERIENCE DO THEY WANT?!?!?!?!

Not the type of company I want to be dealing with tbh.
Rubbish online form (bedroom webdesign) and takes 3 days for a quote, only to be told they dont cover that particular car.
Scoob insurance is up for renewal also, but think I'll give GreenLight a miss.

Hi, I will work for Greenlight and try and post a response to some of the comments. This is not an official response, it is done in my own time and is my own views (and spelling).
BOB'5, I am sorry you are unhappy with the quote form, we have found that most people we speak to prefer the one page quick form rather than a mulitpage form that can take some time to complete. With regards to the time taken for you to receive a response, unfortunately we are not open Saturday afternoon or Sundays so any online quotes would have to wait until Monday.
With regards to comments regarding declining to quote Subaru's and other vehicles, we do not turn away any business we can place for a competitive price. Unfortunately a few years ago, we had a huge amount of claims being made by Subaru drivers, when an Insurer see that their are paying more money out for claims than they take in premium, they see this as bad for business. We could either stop quoting Subaru's with that insurer or see a premium rise for all business with that insurer.
As for your S2000, I presume that would be due to claim statistics also on that vehicle, we could probably quote with another insurer, but as they will be uncompetitive a response was likely sent with details of another broker you could try.
I hope this goes someway to explain it.

Adrian Flux won't take new scoobs. Said no last year and same this year. A-plan and Greenlight both very helpful on the phone. Went with Greenlight as slightly cheaper quote and they knew exactly what I was talking about when it came to mods.

Greenlight dont seem to like modded imports
They couldnt beat my £1000+ plus renewal quote with Frizzell. A Plan on the other hand managed £680....
Shocking really the vast differences for essentially the same sort of cover
and yes I know theres a lot of variables involved. But given I'm over 30 with over 10 years no claims, never had an accident, no points on license and the car is garaged in a low risk area - then I dont see why there should be such a wide variety of quotes from presumably different underwriters
