Did you manage to speak to someone in the UK or on another continent?
Their website may list an WRX STi Prodr (or something like it) but it's NOT PPP.
Best to check for sure as you don't want to find out you're not fully covered for all your kit if the car was to be stolen/written off.
I was with them (N.U) last year, but it was a pain in the @ss trying to explain exactly what PPP consisted off.
This year I went with someone who knew what they were speaking about;A-plan.

This has had me thinking.
If you insure your car with them as an 05 sti prodrive pack, Norwich Union have only two listings for that car, an sti uk and an sti uk prodrive.
On an 05 plate what else can it be?
They have old listings going back to when the bugeyed sti was available with the lower spoiler, and the raised spoiler was an sti prodrive. Their problem.
Surely if you have explained it is an 05 car which you will have, how can they get out of it. By offering a prodrive option on an 05 sti car, what else are you the punter expected to believe. After all, you are not a professional in the car industry as they are.
Would like to see them squirm in court over that one. So mr N/U what exactly is an 05 sti prodrive?
Just a thought....Daz

It's up to you the owner to confirm that everything is correct and not N.U in this case. Just because it says Prodr (or whatever it says), doesn't mean you are covered or that they'd pay up in the event of anything happening.

Robocop and dazc – this is almost exactly the same thing I found out this Saturday whilst ringing round for quotes on a MY03 PPP. Its on a thread just one or two down !! See here or here's my last quote from there:
Been on the phone for a while this morning and it seems the specialists such as A-plan and Greenlight do know about the PPP and will quote straight off.
The more mainstream companies either - don’t have the PPP down and have to enter it as a performance mod and hence sky high premiums - or – just quote it as the ‘Prodrive’ edition for the same money as the standard STI (but I’m sure they are getting mixed up here with the MY02 ‘Prodrive Style’)
So bloody frustrating as Direct line only want £45 extra for a WR1 over an STI but want £370 extra for an STI PPP !!!!!!!! as they have to enter the PPP as percentage power increase.

So Folks
What do you do?
Go with NU the insurance advisors you confirm it it the sti prodrive ppp
Or pay throught the nose elsewhere ?
WHAT DO YOU DO???????
I see your points but like you say in a court of law "THEY CONFIRMED AND PRINTED ON THERE DOCS PRODRIVE"
Now they wont pay?
Who would get that call? The punter me thinks?
