Im in the process of buying a '93 wrx import. I have got one sp30, and 9 years discount and age 36. For FComp' Tesco's quoted me £1.4k various other quotes hit £2.5k and wanted 'tracker'.

My local broker did their best and got me £1090 FComp, requiring only a cat1

Sometimes the supposed cheaper people aren't always so cheap

Your right! I tried all the usual cheap insurers, but ended up with direct-line for £997 which included my 28 year old wife!

They did want a cat 1 + tracker, but I would have had one installed anyway.
