Insurance Renewal
It's renewal time 
Just had my renewal through from elephant and seem a little confused as to why my insurance premium should go up taking into account that my car is a year older, hence worth less, and I've gained another years NCB?
32 y/o, 8 years NCB, no accidents / covictions, insured with other half (cos it went down when asked)
MY02 WRX, with morettes, Prodrive front lower lip, Prodrive UK300 Rear spoiler, WR Sport BB, PFF7's and colour coded side skirts.
Gone from £787 to £837
Any thoughts?

Is this your second year with Elephant? Many companies offer good deals to new customers, then try to screw them the next year. I have had a different insurer nearly every year because of this. Not this year though, went down £120 
.
I think they also generally stop counting NCB after 5 years.
As always, best to shop around at renewal time. Most sites have internet quoting now.
