Question

Renewal from Admiral, its up from £485 to £662, does anyone have STi insurance cheaper, if so who with ?. I've now reached the ripe old age of 36 and because I've an unblemished 17 years of driving and live in the lowest insurance rating area in the UK, if anyone has cheaper insurance I'd like to know who with. There's nothing on my application at all that should load the premium and car theft and gatso's are non existent where I live, so I'm wondering if this is as low as its possible to get. Tried some of the favourites like A Plan but Admiral are coming up trumps.

Rambo, I tried a few places before I got the Admiral quote. If Admiral won't play ball, try A-Plan, they tried hard and nearly matched Admiral. Only one I haven't tried that I'm planning is Privelige. Let me know how you get on - what age are you ?

Thumbs up

Right here go's
Kevin Have this afternoon contacted my previous insurance company to confirn there qoute, on running through the details and just mentioning that the car is an import they decided to tell me that as it was an import the car wasn't insured for the hole of last year, and they were not willing to reinsure it. A good start. On trying other insurance companys which included Admiral £1250.00 I tried Keith Michaels on the advice of Jay (thanks) who have come back with a qoute of £1075.00 plus an excess. And with my insurance running out tonight was my best offer. The guy on the end of the phone was very helpfull and also a scooby owner.

Jay.
Yes we will be going now that we are insured, hope to see you on Sunday.

Thanks to you both.
