Question

Can anyone help. I want to take my Scooby (company car) on an Airfield day, with possibly thinking of doing a track day. Do you have to have separate insurance ?

I was wondering where I might go about find someone to insure me for these type events.

Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Phill Cocking.

Is the airfield 'active'? If so you need 'airside' insurance, thats even if you are merely driving on an airfield & not racing.I fly light aircraft and a mate of mine had an accident in his car 'airside' which had nothing to do with any aircraft involvement, when he contacted the insurers they told him to read the small print & guess what, it was invalid for 'airside'use!

Babber,

You can buy seperate track cover via Eggar Lawson....I can't remember the number off hand...however if you do a search under the trackday section you will find the number *S*.....

Hope this helps..

Cheers
