My insurance is due to be renewed at the end of September. I am currently with Greenlight and pay £840 a year (32 yrs, Full NCB, No points, Wife 29 also to drive, Glasgow post code, standard UK MY98 turbo). I may have to add business use to the policy. Greenlight quoted me £44 to add this for the remaining month!!

Any suggestions for a cheap quote?

I have had quotes on my insurance for a uk car from £3000 to the bset which is £794. I have 6 points and 1 non fault accident 4 yers NCD. Give these guys a ring they are dead hepful and insure with leading companys, they specialise in imports and jap cars in general.

I'm with Bell Direct and as a 26Yr Old with a 24Yr Old wife I'm £650 fully comp with Business Mileage too. I am in Aberdeen so I'm probably a bit cheaper. Bell direct have allowed me to put 17" Speedlines on and will allow me to put on Induction kit and full exhaust without any extra cost. (Last year I was approx £450 for the same cover).

They were still cheaper for me than anywhere else (I gave up after phoning over a dozen places and getting quotes of over £1000 before adding extra's like wheels).

I'm in Edinburgh.Just renewed - 32 yrs ,4 yrs NCB but garaged MY99 - quoted 570 quid with only 100 excess by BARCLAYS.Basically they have a deal on at the moment whereby they guarantee to beat your renewal price.( My renewal was 580 from Lloyds Tsb) Barclays are ok about mods though whereas Lloyds won't even let you change the backbox....so I went with Barclays.Probably worth a call ?
