Whats your excess?

Aplan wants 500quid excess on MY05WRX with tracker do you think this is EXCESSive?

what do you pay and with who???

My excess is £820. I always bump it up as high as I can to get the insurance down.

I have yet to make a claim in 10 years, so even if I do need to, I will have saved more than the excess over the years anyway.

 

my excess is £1100 with norwich union. i can lower it but it puts the premium up loads, think they wanted £400 more to lower excess to £500!!!!! just aswell risk it and hope you don't need to claim - after all, if i scratch it myself and the repair is less than £1100 then i may as well get work done myself + save insurance
