Hi mate,
I used to be on my dads traders policy going back a couple of years. Think his was just over £500.00 at the time but then they started bring more and more exceptions to the policy that it was hardly worth having the thing. For example no imports, fibre glass cars etc.
I looked into one not too long ago when I had three cars (including the mrs) and they wanted over £1500.00. It was cheaper to insure them all individually so never followed it up.

Anyone who lies to obtain insurance is crazy. Just when you need the cover, they will discover that you're not a trader and you won't have insurance.
