Default Another A-Plan thread......

Well phoned up A-Plan yesterday to get a quote to insure my car.

Currently had 2 policies with Norwich Union, 1 for my Revision 1 MR2 Turbo and 1 for my 93 WRX. I wrote the 93 WRX off and have a claim pending.

I bought another 93 WRX and thought I would insure it.

Anyway A-Plan sorted me out with a company who wanted to insure both of my cars.

Got the MR2 Turbo (group 19) and the 93 WRX (group 20) insured for £1225 for both.

I am 26 with 4 years protected no claims on the Subaru. Excess is £450 and £500 respectively. I have a clean licence and obviously a claim pending.

Mods listed on the Subaru are:

Induction Kit
Exhaust
Remapped ECU
Front Mounted Intercooler
17" Alloys
4 Pot Brakes
Sti 5 Spoiler
Facelift front end (bumper, grille, lights and bonnet)

Not bad don't you think ?

Rob was very helpful and as pointed out knew a bit about modded cars. I think he genuinely realises that not every person with an exhaust etc is a boy racer liability.
