Insurance for my first Scooby. A-Plan recued me!!!
Hi all, totally new to this forum and the joys of owning a Scooby.
I was an Integrale man for years but now I've bought a V5 STi that I pick up on Friday!!! Looking forward to the fun!!
Been trying to get insurance for it and it was fun to say the least!! Tesco who I am with now came good as always, £1500 Fully Comp. I am 26, 6yrs NCB but a claim 3 years ago (protected bonus) 9 points for speeding and no Tracker fitted. Rang around all the usuals and they wanted a fortune. A fellow Scooby owner up the road suggested Lifesure, very good too, £1113 FC!!
Then I thought I'd try one last company - A-Plan, phoned Rob and ten minutes later I'm fully comp with protected bonus and all the bells and whistles for £1000. Well pleased with that and I'll be on the road from Friday hopefully!!!
