I'm soon going to be getting a cheap run around for work etc. Going to try and go with a company which will allow me to drive any other veichle 3rd party.

My mother will soon be getting an Evo II insuared in her name. Can I drive this as often as I want legally?

I assume so, that is allowed. Ins company on your car might ask if there are any other cars in the household - but they wont ask you for any details. I used to work in car insurance.
Its not contravening the conditions of insurance it just wasnt meant to be exploited

With a lot of policies you can drive other cars with you policy providing you with the legal minimum, which is 3rd party cover. However IIRC conditions are usually that you don't own the car and it is already insured by the owner/someone else.

Recently had this discussion with my insurance company while trying to run 3 cars between 2 people during car changes, and trying to determine who needs to insure what.

heh if it can be exploited legally though why not?

Just want to be 100% on it before going ahead with it. I've rang CIS and they said there's no restrictions on age or the veichle or how often it's done, so I assume it would be perfectly legal for me to drive it as often as I wanted with her permission?
