It would appeare to me that N.U. has two different charing systems?!? i got a quote on (my95) import wrx wagon ( 3mods) from the uk call centre and it came out at about £1400! 26 n full no claims. Then after almost giving up found an ad in yellow pages for "imported car insurance" with N.U. direct log on it. phoed it just in case since it was a differnet phone number, same pre-recorded intro "delighted u called N.U. direct" never any waiting and straight through to the india call centre!!!! anyways long story short, same policy more than £500 CHEAPER!!!!! should i post number on here?? if u want it email me fission33@hotmail.com l8rs.

If you get a verbal quote ALWAYS check they have done it on the correct model.

2 cases that I know of: Impreza STI V5....quoted as a 2.0 sport, Escort Cosworth......quoted as a RS2000.

Alot of the staff there put in model type and engine size and just quote on the first one on the screen!!!!!

If you don't check the paperwork and then have a claim don't expect a penny!!!

I was quoted a cracking price by them. When i can back to buy they told me there was no quote made and they cant insure me

oh well too late now as have just paid them the premium!, well i will certainly check the paperwork inside out, did phone on 4 occasions to recheck details though. hope the old addage about things being too good to be true isnt applicable here.?!?
