Wink

Matt, i'm insured with tesco, i pay under £600 fully comp for my P1, same age as you, full no claims and clean licence, though living in the middle of nowhere may help me a bit!

Among the others i tried were elephant.co.uk and Admiral who were only slightly more expensive than Tesco, worth a shot!

BTW, i renewed mine in april so the market may have changed since.

Hope you get it sorted soon.

KGB.

Thumbs up

I pay £1000 through liverpool victoria 4 years no claims one sp30 37 years old. Best thing about them is they don't require a tracker and aren't fussed about mods.

matt.bowey,

I insured my P1 with Elephant for £1050 - included declaring optional-extra alloy wheels (the 18s), exhaust change and brake upgrade. Not kept in a city and I am a profesional (cue the music) which does make a difference to the premium. When I took the policy out I was 25 with 2 years no claims and an SP30 from May 2002. Elephant seemed the cheapest at the time, but I've just had a play with thier website to see what the renewal will be with 3 years no claims (hopefully!) and it has gone up to £1380!!!

Think this has got something to do with a spate of Scooby thefts(?).

Anyway, I'd be interested to know if you find yourself a good deal.

Cheers!

Just had a look at their web site and it says they can not insure a car which has "performance enhancing" modifications....
