Hi there,

I have just sold my MY00 Impreza Sport to an 18 year old female. The cheapest quote she has had so far is £1600 from Tescos. Doesn't seem too bad but has anyone got any ideas of anywhere cheaper?

for an 18 y/o thats a good price, as the sport is a 2.0???i be surprise to find somewhere cheaper & suabru insurance is expensive even for non turbo impreza GL & sport etc. i wouldnt bother with adrian flux, they wanted £1600+ few yrs ago when i was 20 y/o that was just for a mazda 323f 1.5..

im 20 on a sport special £1400 ! under my dads name wiv 3yrs no claims lol

sport special seems to be harder insure aswell becasue it looks basically like a turbo

Sounds a fair price, but try Liv Vic, CIS, Norwich Union (especially if she has Pass Plus for 1yr extra NCB) and Endsleigh (they gave a poor quote online, then phoned me to under cut my best quote).
