2nd car insurance??
hi, i'm thinking about getting an old 205 gti to run along with my scooby, now not being worth much i'll only get 3rd party.
but would it be ok to register the 205 in someone else's name and drive it 3rd party on the scooby's insurance?
does the 205 have to be insured anyway by the registered keeper??
cheers matt.

Yes, the other person has to insure the 205 for the driving other car benefit to be valid.
Your best bet is to contact a Broker or Insurer that will reflect some if not all, of your current NCD entitlement on a 2nd car policy.
