guys im hoping you can help me

I asked this same question on an FTO forum and got little response.

I am currently the owner of a ford escort (WRC lookalike without the engine ) and i am looking to buy something quicker at the end of the year.

THe problem I worry about is getting insured.

I love Subarus and FTO's and I wanted to know what the likelyhood was of me getting a reasonable insurance quote.

I will be 21 / 22 by the time i start looking and with any luck I will have 3 years NCB *Touch Wood*. The car is in a low rated crime zone in Peterborough and will be parked off the road.. in my back garden (I have a gate which leads to a section of garden down the side of my house which is a spare driveway.

What sort of Subaru Impreza would I be able to buy and get insured on, and how much do you reckon roughly would i be looking at.

i was 22 i had 3 years ncb 9 points on license i paid £3000 on a uk my 99 3rd party only! so you should be looking around £2000 if you have 3 years and clean license.

 

I would give a couple companies a call, your get a more accurate idea that way, if not do an online quote. I would try Tesco's 1st.
