Yup, crashed my scoob [2003 sti] last year, body/panel damage right down passenger side, because of the sheer expense of panel parts for 2003 sti [ie 700+ for rear spoiler!] the bill is heafty.
liverpool victoria insurance [good cheap quote], THEIR APPROVED mechanics near me are cd bramells.
Car went in for repairs [around 8ks worth of body damage, nothing mechanical wrong at all] on 20/11/2003..
Car still in today!!!
So far the garage have said it will be ready for pick up on;
06/01/2004 - 12/01/2004 - 16/01/2004 - 21/01/2004 - 23/01/2004 - 23/01/2004 - 28/-1/2004 - 30/01/2004 - and now its going to be ready on 04/02/2004 !!!!
Seems along long time to take to replace and spray panels/bumpers an spoiler EVEN with 'delivery times'
ANYONE elese had similar experiences ???

My year 2000 classic needed a new bonnet and front respray after a cow in a freelander reversed into it, it was damaged on Jan 2nd, went in for rerair on the 16th Jan, and it came back on the 24th.
Not bad eh!
Mind you, it was only a bonnet grill and paint!

not wanting to scare you, but when I crumpled the back of my P1 at donnington in may of last year, I didn't get it back until october...all because one tiny part of the rear chassis needed to be made in japan. Kinda gave up asking when she'd be ready after a while, 2 weeks... 2 weeks.... yeah right

so what happened, did u get money knocked off or sommit to sweeten ur disposition, i mean at the minute [liverpool victoria] im driving around in a 50 bhp corsa worth 5k while i wait an wait for the approved mechanics to finally give me back my 308bhp sti prodrive 25k +, and im not ungrateful for having the courtesy car but im getting impatient now after 11weeks,.. similar prob all im waiting on is the bracket to attatch the spoiler to the front bumper !!
