Question

I'm insured with Tesco's I'm 40yrs old and have full no claims, I pay £780 fully comp. the cars just run in and I was going to add the PPP but I've been quoted an extra £260 on top of my premium for this, would that be the going rate? I can't quite remember but I tried a few insurance companies online before I went with Tesco's and I don't think the quotes from a standard STI to an STI PPP were much different?

Is anyone else with Tesco and had the PPP fitted, if so how much extra did you pay?

The second you go from factory spec with the likes of tescos, direct line etc they hammer you.
At your age (im only a few years younger) i would personally change insurance co's and go to Liverpool Victoria, who for one will not kill you for having a modified car (they dont charge extra and like the more mature and sensible drivers )
