Try Liverpool Victoria, Tesco, CIS and Endsleigh. You'll be lucky to get it under £2k though.

Liv Vic were best for me.
£1800 on my 1.6GL (group 10, Sports are 13 IIRC), I'm 19 with 0 NCB (but 2yrs experience and extra driver training), parked in a garage in Sheffield, excess £500.

Good luck!

Ben

1900 quid sounds about right for someone with 0 ncb and just passed a test, if you stick with your fathers insurance though then you will be breaking the law (as you own the car but its under someone elses insurance) and you have to start somewhere (thats why its sensible for the first year or two to get a 1ltr car and run so that so you build up your ncb ) otherwise you wont gain any ncb and end up paying the same ammount thoughout your life.

Tony

TonyBurns, i'm sorry i think there has been a misunderstanding, at the min the car is also registered in my old chaps name aswell as the insurance, as the insurance is due for renewel in june i have a couple of months to look for a good and affordable quote for me on my own and then everything would be in my name, i do understand what you have said though and i am looking to get my own insurance.

Thanks for the info
