Insurance for Forester Turbo?

Hi all, my little brother is going to study in the UK this August, and is planning on what car he should get. He was thinking of a turbo forester SF5.
Question is, my brother would only be 18 when he gets there in August. He would either be studying in Leicester or Stoke on Trent, so what would the insurance cost be around? (our family don't have any car insurance records over there)

Hi BU308, I have a Forester T/tb and live very near to Leicester. However I am rather older than 18 !!!
I would guess that your little brother would find it very, very difficult, if not impossible, to get his own insurance for a turbo ! I suggest that he e-mails a couple of UK insurers to see what they say.
