Unhappy

Trying to get insurance quotes for the following;

(UK) Impreza Turbo
(UK) BMW M3 (E36 non Evo)
(UK) Supra TT

Used to find confused.com pretty good, but obviously not for cars like this

I pay £550 for my Mk4 Golf GTI 1.8T, off street parking etc... the quote I have had for a standard UK Scoob was £1400!!!! surely there shouldn't be this much of a difference? I'd had quotes in the past for around £900 for a UK Scoob...

Help appreciated

A lot of insurance companies have stopped insuring Subarus over the past year, so the ones that do (mostly underwritten by the same people!) have decided to have a field day on the price front.
The best i came up with was 1100 with barclaycard direct.
(standard UK Turbo, 23Yrs old, 6yrs NCB, SP30)

How come? The Scoob is insurance group 17 and the M3 is group 20... but I can get insured cheaper on the M3.....

I'll try Liverpool Victoria tomorrow... Tesco is a beeeatch as my PC has issues with pop up windows which you need on the tesco website (damned Win XP!)

I cant seem to get below £1800 for a standard UK 99/00 YM scooby

25, 7 years NCB, Garaged and limited mileage to 5000 per year.

Funny thing is that it's more now than when I was 21 which is weird coz I was getting qoutes of £1200 on a new Impreza

Liverpool Victoria say they won't insure anyone under 25 on an Impreza Turbo.... and under 30 on an E36 M3!

Try elephant.co.uk, you'll get online quote too.

I'm 24 with 3 years no claims, living in Aberdeen, MY00 turbo wagon. I'm under £1K, just!?!

Hope it helps

Just tried egg.com for a standard 2004 WRX - tracking device must be selected... and only slightly cheaper than elephant.co.uk without a tracking device - 27yr old, 8 yrs NCB, 1 claim in last 3 years(was protected - thankfully!), 14k miles a year, protected etc...
