Can anyone recommend their import insurers, is there any online insurance firms for imports.

i take that back :@ now i am angry and i will take this further if i have to, so by tomorrow i will have some definate answers for this thread, but l and v quoted me, i was quite clear with my details for my jdm sti8 as i said it was 2003, dont see how they can mistake it for 2 door, i asked are you quite sure about the quote they said yes we are clear its 134 pounds extra. Silly me didnt get the name of the person but i wrote down the details, so when i called back today to double check, paid deposit on car now, picking it up tomorrow, they said oh sorry, we dont insure that car, its not on the list, got to speak to underwriters tomorrow!! someone will be getting **** if they dont, as they just cost me a fortune for a car i cant insure!!

 

ok just to let everyone know, i spoke to someone who is a little higher up, i got my own issue resolved, they are going to insure the car for me at the price they said, they get the cars on their system from the dvla, so i suggested they update it a little more or contact dvla to check as tehy have some cars missing for sure, and if they do that alot more people from this bbs would use their service, they didnt say they would get back to me, but said they would look into it, however they did say they would insure any car, by simply picking the nearest to it on their system and then sending you the details of your own car in writing to make sure you are insured, hope that helps
