high quotes?

Hi I have just bought myself a 94 WRX and seem to be having trouble getting good quotes.
I am 28, full No Claims, no accidents etc living outside of london in a low risk postcode and still my lowest quote is £1250!
Does this sound right? i thought it would be around 8-900 max.

Thanks I've just given them a call and they come back with the normal 'we dont insure imports anymore' seems everyone is getting out of the imported insurance game :-(
