1 Crash but 3 cars insured adcice needed
#1
I have recently writted off my 02 STI but also have two other cars that are insured in my name - do I need to inform the other insurers that I have had a claim, all 3 cars are insured with different companies.
Am I wrong in thinking that each policy is a sort of standalone policy or do I have to declare - I have max co claims bonus on all 3 cars.
Any advice much appreciated

Why 3 cars- are you sure you are not "fronting" for the main users of other vehicles? Alternatively you are just rich.
Anyway, your accident will be entered on the MIAFTA/ CUE databases of insurers. They will find out about it if they look. There is a possibility they may come and ask you why you have other vehicles ( especially if you have an accident in one of your other vehicles). A lot of proposal forms ask you if you own any other vehicle- make sure you have not fallen foul of this.Insurance contracts involve a principle of utmost good faith and I would recommend you tell your other insurers- certainly on renewal at the least.
