Got my STI V5 wagon from a guy who was insured with L&V.
He was paying £680.
I called for a quote - "sorry we do not have the 5 door on our list".
"We will cover a 4 door STI or an STI type R, but not 5 door model"
Madness!
Norwich Union (my current insurers) quoted £951 on the site, but £1355 when I called to change the policy to the STI.
When I gave them the reference No. from the site they agreed on £951 with £700 excess.
Finally settled on £895 with £500 excess from Osbournes.
God, I hope no one scratches my car!!!
