You may be eligible for a reduction in LV's already keen rates.If you are a civil servant of just about any type they will shave substantial chunks off the rate provided you spend £17 on joining csma (civil service motoring association).Members of UNISON and a few other groups/unions also get discounts.

For my own (non scooby)quote the civil servant discount was around 15% and I am eligible because I worked for MAFF for 3 months around 30 years ago !!!!!
