Just spoke to greenlight insurance and they have said that any impreza's 2002 onwards they will not now quote for.

2001 and prior no probls and I presume all exisitng customers are ok. Was told that they have seen a marked increase in total loss at fault claims in the last 6-12 months and at 20k min they have decided to not take any new clients on.

looks like i am sticking with lv

cheers simon

My renewal on the P1 was 1900 quid despite a years more insurance and it was 1200 last year.

Rang the supervisor up, listened to his story about paying 2 pound out for every 1 pound they make on it - Asked him point blank - have you had a P1 stolen this year? Erm not sure sir, i said your bloody right your not sure cause most of them are on my internet board and i have NEVER heard of a P1 stolen (this year)

Comes back - Your correct sir no P1 has been stolen. Right well since they all come with trackers and Cat 1s and are well looked after you will not be putting my premium up will you then? Sorry Sir they are under all Subaru's (ARGH - they are not the bloody same, same as a 22b!)
