Quotes & Not at Fault claims
#1
I'm currently trying to get insurance quotes but I have an outstanding 'not at fault' claim (the other party is not admitting liability) and my wife has two 'not at fault' claims on her own car, both were fully refunded from the other partys insurer.
Do my wifes claims have to be given when the insurer asks if I have any claims considering they were not at fault and were not on the car I am getting a quote for?
Gary.

A non fault claim if the other party has admitted and their insurance has paid out will not effect your insurance, an outstanding claim on the otherhand will (until its been resolved).

unfortunately untill the issue has been sorted your wife has lost her no claims (or a portion of at least) also, dont hold your breath, took me 2 years to sort the prat out who denied being in the accident let alone taking responsibility. I just hope for your benefit your not insured with admiral.
