Hmmm. Do all Insurance compaines have the same attitude towards Trackday insurance? The good L & V deal now no longer looks as good.

I would have thought that if another car crashes into you, then you would claim off that other persons insurance (if deemed to be their fault)

If they got no insurance then you claim off them (obviously much much harder)

Track day insurance excludes third party cover. Track day disclamers prevent you taking further action against anyone. That is why I value this insurance so highly and am amazed that L & V have rendered it worthless.

Good track day cover covers you and your car. If someone crashes into your car, you claim on your insurance and repair the car. If you crash into someone else, your insurance repairs only your car. If you crash into the scenery, the insurance pays for your repairs.

That is why track day insurance is valuable and after talking to Greenlight, that is what their policy covers.
