I want to insure a car that is basically in storage in my garage. It it used once a fortnight to give it a clearout.
My current insurer (Greenlight) want stupid money to insure it alongside my scooby.
Anyone know of any policies (cheap) that will insure me in this way?

You're best off going to a Broker such as Swinton, Hill House Hammond, they will have access to policies that will suit you. A policy where they just give you Fire or Theft and no road traffic act. You may though want to include this as it states in your post that it is used, so a limited mileage policy would be one of your requirments.
If you have max NCD on your 1st car they will also be able to look for a policy that reflects the percentage discount.
You can find their numbers and others here
