Elephant are a bit strange with their quoting.
My last insurance quote went DOWN £5 and yet my girlfriends (standard Saxo ) went up from £385 to £604!!!!!
I'm sure they make it all up as they go along

have to agree ,they do make it up as they go along , my dad is 68 and drives a 03 jag xk8 supercharged(xkr)my mum is 57 and a named driver on his policy they do 25,000 miles a year (lots of driving hols) and he pays £198per annum 7yrs ncb , with the elephant peeps
he wanted to put me on to drive him to the airport a trip of 60 miles, £2800 for 30 days which was the min they would do, when my dad asked if the decimal point was in the right place the girl on the phone got a bit stroppy with him .drove himself in the end parked for 3 weeks at the airport and still saved money.
