Best try the Insurance co's that except mods 1st, then ask to speak to an advisor who has some knowledge of mods. Try Tesco's (need tracker), Liverpool & Victoria, Adrian Flux or Schofields.

Try greenlight
Ive been insured with them for 10 months now, £850 FC for a UK turbo with all mods declared - inc full decat, dawes, filter, even clear indicators plus lots more. I'm 28 4 yrs NCD, + 1 claim.
I phoned them yesterday to tell them i had changed to 17" alloys and changed my STi4 spoiler to an original prodrive WRC one. £40 for the alloys and no charge for the spoiler.
Very helpful service and know what your talking about when you describe any mods carried out.
They also do trackday cover and when i said i needed continental cover they said it was included and i didnt need to tell them.
